Our Mission
Mission.
Give every responder, layman or trained, a simple, effective way to deliver oxygen-rich rescue breaths when every second matters.
Vision.
To create a world in which no responder, layman or trained, hesitates to resuscitate an individual in need because rescue breathing feels unfamiliar or unsafe.
Goal.
Put the ‘P’ back in CPR
Who
Lay responders, bystanders, teachers, coaches, lifeguards, families, police, fire, and EMS personnel.
What
PROcan - Pulmonary Resuscitation Oxygen canister. PROcan is a patented, highly portable oxygen canister designed to enable any bystander to deliver high-quality, oxygen-rich rescue breaths during CPR.
When
Used during medical emergencies when CPR is being performed and the patient is not breathing or struggling to breath (respiratory arrest or cardiac arrest with apnea).
Where
Public places, homes, schools, sports facilities, workplaces, cars, and on EMS, Fire, and Police vehicles - anywhere CPR may be needed.
Why
Since 2008, CPR guidelines have shifted to compression-only for bystanders, removing rescue breaths. While this keeps blood moving, it does not restore oxygen — which can run out within four minutes of breathing stopping. With EMS often arriving 30+ minutes later, many patients suffer irreversible brain and organ damage. The 2025 update adds slight emphasis on breaths, but few people are willing or able to give them.
